Once admitted to the graduate program, the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department will pay all tuition costs, cover a significant portion of the cost of health and dental benefits, and provide a stipend to cover living expenses. 

The graduate student stipend for the academic year 2024-2025 is $34,500. A breakdown of the department's financial contributions can be found below.

Continued support beyond the first year is guaranteed, provided that progress toward degree completion of the degree requirements is satisfactory.  Sources of financial support come from training grants, scholarships, awards, etc. In addition, students are encouraged to apply for fellowships.
