Students are fully supported financially during the entirety of their graduate training, which normally takes about five years. Successful completion of the program culminates with a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Continued support beyond the first year is guaranteed, provided that progress toward degree completion of the degree requirements is satisfactory.  Sources of financial support come from training grants, scholarships, awards, etc. In addition, students are encouraged to apply for fellowships.
