Congratulations to Logan Dawson (DeMali Lab) and Nathan Mohar (Wallrath Lab) for receiving American Heart Association Awards!! 

A PhD Candidate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Logan's project is on "Linking Mechanotransduction and Metabolic Regulation: Unraveling the Role of PFK1 in Cardiovascular Health". 

Nathan's project is on "Genetic modifiers and treatments for striated muscle laminopathies".  Nathan is a PhD Candidate in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Genetics.
